DeenLock ("we," "our," or "the app") is a faith-first screen-time and dua app for Muslims. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, where it is stored, and the choices you have.

If you have any questions, contact us at ask@trydeenlock.app.

3. Third-party services

DeenLock relies on a small number of third parties:

4. Children

DeenLock is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation, login, or any personally identifying information to function.

5. Your choices and rights

Because most of your data is stored locally on your device:

If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA (including the right to request a copy of any data we hold about you, the right to rectification, and the right to file a complaint with a regulator). Because we do not maintain a server-side database of personal information, most of these rights are exercised directly through the device. To make a formal request, email ask@trydeenlock.app.

6. Data retention

Information stored locally on your device persists until you delete the app or reset your device. Subscription records held by RevenueCat are retained for as long as your account is active and per RevenueCat's own retention policy. Aladhan logs are subject to Aladhan's own retention rules.

7. Security

DeenLock transmits all data over HTTPS. Subscription receipts are validated using Apple's standard cryptographic verification. Because we do not collect or store personal data on our own infrastructure, the risk surface is limited to your device, Apple, and the third parties listed in Section 3.

8. Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Effective date" above and announce the change inside the app prior to it taking effect. Older versions of this policy will be available on request.
